Fifty words…is this weeks writing challenge
No rules. Just stick to the word count — no more, no less than fifty words.
Fifty
As Cock of the Walk
He ruled with mercuric hands
Holds tight to power
Keeping his minions in line
Baring his bell-clad heel spurs
A faint jingle unleashed shivers
And brought compliance
He was after all a ferocious cock
With an attitude backed up by his jingling false spurs
