RABBIT HOLE

The band-aid on her finger had a red light
to it.

This she examined by wiggling it up and down,

rotating her wrist for a closer look .
Her finger is now almost at the tip of her nose.

Eyes converging, she cries out,

“quick take it off before I disappear.”
