Cherry Blossoms

I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens today armed with my camera expecting to be awash in cherry blossoms. But it wasn’t time yet only very few trees were flowering. Plus it was a little chilly. The blossoms that had bloomed were tiny, not yet ready for the specular show visitors are treated to each spring.Β  The close-up shots of flowers are in pots on sale at the garden shop. Nothing fancy coming from the ground yet.

The grass is still brown in this shot. We have had quite the winter this year.

    • That one is of the Japanese garden within the Botanic garden. There are fish in that pond, and visitors feed them. I’m not sure they are allowed to but it’s really cool to watch! Thanks for stopping by:)

  1. These are all gorgeous. I especially love the last one. It reminds me of something out of a fairytale. Beautifully captured.
