Ahhh, that makes sense if the fragrance was effusive. I should have clicked on the photo for a closer view. If they are hyacinths I’ve never seen so many in one setting; someone planted a lot of bulbs!!

They were about a foot high. I’m not sure hyacinths get that high.

Trees, landscapes, and wildlife make me feel that way, too. I love how you’ve worded this, with contentions “lack[ing] weight” so that they almost seem to float away in the open spaces when we set our minds to contemplation. Beautiful picture and haiku!
