I finally found out the name of this very interesting looking plant living in the pond with the lilies at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens
I can’t figure out which came first, the flower or the alien looking pod.
This is another phase of it.
This is what the plant itself looked like. Very interesting, and gorgeous.
