WINTER WONDERLAND

winter wonderland
bare limbs snow capped live postcard
a sleepy hamlet

whole family gathering
the smells of home fills the air
….

a kindled fire
nurtured into a warm blaze
a growing passion

charred log tumbled embers flared
firery stars up chimney
….

footprints in the snow
family of deers walk by
mom pause for stragglers

faint sound of jingling bells
gently swaying on the porch
….

snow perched on bare limbs
glistening in the moonlight
twinkling moondust

gentle breeze start moondust showers
fairy dust on wonderland
