SHAME
Shame Old Lady botanical name Mimosa Pudica. A plant I’m familiar with from childhood. I don’t remember ever seeing a flower though. Maybe I was just too preoccupied touching the leaves and being amazed at how quickly they closed/withdrew/shrink.
“….the compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, to defend themselves from harm, and re-open a few minutes later….”
