Post in response to prompt from Carpe Diem Haiku Prompt: At The Seashore

You have to use the three prompts, all with the same theme, in three different haiku and there has to be some cohesion that binds the three haiku together:

1. waves
2. seagulls
3. sundown

WAVES

secrets from ocean
hitches ride to shore on waves
pawn of the moon

SEAGULLS

seagulls at the pier
gathering at sundown
readying for night

SUNDOWN

sundown-
wings of man chasing the sun
day’s done
