Love this Monet. Brushtrokes and light…a new way of looking at the world which the impressionists achieved. A fine haiku !

Yes, I did get to see Flaming June!!! The photos don’t do it justice. There’s so much missing from them. She is on a varandah
with the ocean in the backdrop with a high shine on the water. There’s a strict no photos policy and they enforce it. And of course she is behind glass so when you a trying to sneak a photo you’re fighting the glare. But it was awesome!!

“Chasing the light” is very true. I used to paint landscapes outdoors. It often felt like this..
