This month at Carpe Diem Haiku we’re working on kigo ( season) words. That is, words that in this form of poetry is referring to the time of year.
In this episode the prompt words are ” desire for spring” .

Inspired by these examples by Jane

& these by our host

after the darkness
I am longing for the young leaves
and cherry blossoms

the blooming cherries
watching them in the moonlight
it’s magical

  1. mine are out – sporadically -, as are the yellow winter jasmine flowers. All shivering of course. Pity I don’t much care for yellow flowers :-), but they are better than nothing at this time of the year.
I admire your prowess with the camera: I have tried and tried to get such a reflecting drop.
