  1. A wonderful tribute. It cannot however escape my mind that she was always, I think, both of them, till the very end. Kinda like two sides perpetually struggling with each other, but also dancing a tango. I like how your poem shows that the ‘phenomenal woman’ prevailed, at the end.

    • She came into herself though, in a masterful way. She had so much to impart to her community, hell, to everyone! I got the feeling that she lived it, earned it and owned it. From her lips – ongoing pearls to live by. Thanks for reading and taking the time to make such a thoughtful comment.
