Lovely haiku Pat. Birds do this all the time in our yard, soaking up the sun but only when they feel safe

This was a Brooklyn bird with attitude, lol. I was 3 feet away! We were in his territory and he was just layed there for a good 5 minutes with all the bustle around him. It was a great afternoon in the children’s garden:)
