Full Circle

Photo: Taken on the butterfly bush outside my window, a windy day.

misty rain
sprinkling young leaves..
tender buds

in mountain vistas
therapeutic silence..
a monk contemplates

sounds from the river
feel of balmy summer breeze..
she sits with eyes closed

before the first snow
sparrows feast on red berries..
gray replace blue sky
