This door came with a lot of light. This is in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. They have events here, weddings, etc..beautiful!
This is another shot. The promenade has a pond and a fountain..
This door is to an apartment building in Brooklyn. The building felt like it was something else and was converted to living space.

Thank you. What is NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Challenge all about? Does it start and in November like NaNoWriMo do you have to register before hand or can you just jump in. Sounds facinating. P.S.I liked your story.

The NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Challenge is a 4 round challenge that started in June (I think!). Basically you pay $55 to participate, then get sorted into about 60 different groups, each of which has about 45 different people in it. They send out a prompt at midnight on a Friday and you have until midnight on Sunday to write a 1000 word short story based on the genre, location and item they’ve given you. Then if you score highly enough for your first 2 rounds and are in the top 5 in your group, you advance to the 3rd round. If you make the top 5 in that round, you advance to the 4th and final round. You can check out their website, it’s pretty cool! Thank you 🙂
