This is/was my strawberry patch that lost it wooden planter box (it sort of disintergrated as I tried to move it). The root system fell intact, and I left it where it fell in late fall. The plan is to put it in the ground if it survives, come spring.
Spring came to visit in the heart of winter, and so did a cat. He was just sitting there! Atop my strawberry bush, refusing to let me disturb his peace. He didn’t stir, even with the noise of opening the door.
Lesson Learned:
Don’t let anyone disturb your peace!!
I’ve been trying to get a proper shot of this fire pit for a while. By now I’m pretty sure the owners of the house thinks I am casing the joint. My first shots were with my phone. Not so good. So I went back with my camera:)

Interesting images Pat. Did you feed the cat?

Yep, then they bring their friends:)) My yard has more plant life than anyone around. So it’s a hangout. But they don’t stay long, they move on quickly.
