leaf gazing –
the lyrical tumble
of falling leaves
even through wicked winds –
a gentle landing still…
a life well lived

Over at dVerse Poets Pub the focus is on the ‘silence’ in poetry by way of punctuations. What if the visible ‘pauses’ in a poem is where the poet lets the reader in. A bread crumb, so to speak, on the trail of a deeper meaning. But, maybe not. Once a poem is made public, it takes on new life. Much like coming to the realization that your kids are grown and you have to let them go. Different strokes…
An interesting topic over at dVerse.
