I spent time in the garden yesterday, a tangled mess. The plotting out of chores always seem easier from the doorway. It was no different this time either. Having started late, I raked a line around the perimeter and sprinkled new shasta daisy seeds ( those things are more like flakes). I forgot to water them. Nature, in the mode of taking care of its own, sent rain this morning.
morning twittering

This is wonderful–I so appreciate the part about plotting chores from the doorway being easier ๐ But the rain came, a blessing not too late โค

This is every year. I always plan to have a neat, orderly garden….never happens.

I’m crazy enough to sign on for both NaPoWriMo AND A to Z…so tonight I’m baking, need sugar for the all-nighters I’ve been pulling…literally nodding off in front of laptop screen! I should be in some kinda reality TV show ๐ ๐ Oh, and I’m mainlining Diet Coke too! ๐

Omg, that’s funny. That poor diet Coke doesn’t stand a chance. I’m head over to A to Z to see what their prompts are like. Done that twice before…I think.

I didn’t realize there were prompts for A to Z…I thought we just picked a “theme” (or not, it’s optional)…and wrote posts that start with the consecutive alphabet letter on a Mon-Fri schedule. We actually get the weekend “off”, which I’m truly looking forward to!! ๐

I wish I could send some of the rain we’ve been getting to those in need…
walking in my yard is like walking on a sponge. And it is supposed to get soggier by the weeks end.

I know what you mean. Not too much rain here, just always looks like a great day with this underling cold.
