Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering and honoring people who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Veterans Day is to thank those who served and are serving. I do not mean to upset you, however this was mentioned to me by several military personnel (my daughter as well who serves), when I posted a comment similar to yours.
