Yeap! Honest to goodness alternate way of fishing witnessed off the pier in my neighborhood this Sunday evening.
The only other place I have ever seen this type of fishing was in the Mediterranean!!

Great photo Pat. My father and friends netted regularly back when I was a boy. They would go into the water after dark and always had a bountiful catch. That was back in “the good old days”

It was so cool to watch. Both ends of The net was wrapped around two branches from a tree.. it was homemade. Awesome, I thought.
