Catching Raindrops

As winter gray rules the sky, a young family walks quickly down the sidewalk, Anxious to retreat from looming rain. First drops make contact – mom’s footsteps quicken. Facinated by the fat splat to his forehead the toddler breaks the pace.

arms outstretched

palms skyward,
a new distraction

catching raindrops –
the razzle dazzle
of it all!
