the energy of the city
takes an ominous turn
to the trenches of the hospitals
the staff does battle with an insidious enemy – courage reins

  1. My, how the energy has changed, not only in cities but everywhere. Sadly, a lot of energy is spent in hospitals – physical and mental energy. This is a perfect poem for the times. Well done and thank you for joining in.
