Thursday Doors – Sag Harbor

I spent the Saturday two weeks ago out in Sag Harbor on Long Island. It was quiet, quaint, lush, oceanfront and 10 degrees cooler than it was in Brooklyn at a breezy 81 degrees. Now I know why folks from Manhattan flock there during the summer. It seemed to be a place where the ocean breeze rules. And passion fruit and coconut donuts from Grindstone Coffee & Donuts. I’d take a ride back out there any time for those🙂. Just get one or two, because however many you get, you’re gonna eat ’em!

Details of the archetecture.

I am not going to pretend to know what type it is, but boy, was it good to look at!!

We stopped off at one of the beaches.
And then another
The Windmill. My first. This is a visitors center, it had something to do with sailing

This (the last 5 photos), is what it looked like on the inside

  1. What a wonderful tour. I love the windmill, especially inside, and the old whalers church. Thanks for providing the detail pictures. I visited Sag Harbor once in the late 70s but I’ve never been back. This was nice.
