I once lived in places that experienced winter, and I remember the excitement of color beginning its emergence from the ground. Pretty poem, Pat! 🙂

It’s been raining for a week, and next week doesn’t look any better. I had a landscaper out today to give us a bid on removing that tree (stump) we cut down last summer. Brrr… it was cold. Your haiku is perfect for this time of year. ❤

LOL! $500 to remove the stump and all the roots in two different places. Not much you can do, so we accepted his bid. At least that will be done and I can get some hydrangeas planted. LOL! I heard it will be 64 today. I’ll be taking a walk and enjoying the temperatures. ❤
