I was in the city this morning for a doctor’s appointment. I came across these doors. Lovely , I thought. And all on one block.








I can’t imagine how much it would cost to have one of these security doors made now.

These are wonderful doors. The metal doors are incredible. Thanks for the close-up of the grill work and the knocker. Looks like you picked a perfect block to explore.

Beautiful ironwork, but I think I’m partial to that wooden door with the horizontal stripes–I’ve never seen one like it. (K)
