Pitter – Patter

A few days ago the drips from my eaves formed rhythm with tweets from the bare branches of the pear tree. That, has moved on and the birds are back in hiding. Today we are engulfed in a steady snowfall.

We are back to pretty. But not for long. When the neighborhood inches back to life we shall be ankle deep in slush again. And so it goes.

A Complex Legacy

This rise of incivility, hate mongering, and inhumane acts have settled in. It’s sowing itself into our fabric. I worry it’s a stain not easily removed.
