lingering embrace

haunts me

soft moist lips

and a delicious kiss

awake secret desires

Desire for Spring

forsythia buds
long to bathe in warm sunlight
desire for spring

This month at Carpe Diem Haiku we’re working on kigo ( season) words. That is, words that in this form of poetry is referring to the time of year.
In this episode the prompt words are ” desire for spring” .

after the darkness
I am longing for the young leaves
and cherry blossoms

watching them in the moonlight
