My contribution today is a haiku.

Today is Day 3 of NaPoWriMo where poets post an original pem as part of writing a poem a day for 30 days in the month of April..following a theme or prompt. Or not.

Carpe Diem #888 Hatsuhikari (first light of the sun)

This month at Carpe Diem Haiku we’re working on kigo ( season) words. That is, words that in this form of poetry is referring to the time of year.
In this episode the words are the ” first light of the sun”, which is kigo for winter.
