Flower of the Day – Butterfly Bush

For Cee’s Flower of the Day, my Butterfly Bush has a visitor. This thing has nine lives. I keep snipping off the dead flower and new ones pop up. I guess this deadheading really works. This is the first time I’ve seen this color butterfly in my garden. I took a zillion pics to get to this one. So beautiful!! To see other entries go here.

Flower of The Day – Dahlia

For Cee’s Photo Prompt Flower Of The Day #FOTD. Today, a dahlia. We met yesterday at the Terminal Market in Brooklyn. I had to read the tag to be sure. They come in such a nice variety of colors. Beautiful!

Time to escape to where nature’s rocky promenade meets blue sky. To be lost in panoramic views, while eavesdropping on the sounds of nature quiets my mind. Here’s to cleansing breaths and new perspectives.
