The Royalton on E43 in Manhattan. It drew my attention because I stayed at their property in Mexico. It was gorgeous. Love the details on the surround in this.

This is a school entrance in Brooklyn. I particularly appreciated the inscription by Lincoln above the door…given the times we are living in. Only two this week.

Thursday Doors

well, digging through my stash of doors I found this gem for Norm’s Thursday Doors this week. To be honest, I don’t remember where I took this one. I think it was in Manhattan on the lower east side. But, I am loving it! Check out the window flower box on the ledge above, cute, right!

DP Challenge:Out of This World

Art installation made of huge nails. Photo taken on the streets of Manhattan a while back. Definitely out of this world!

42nd Street

A peek from Superman. A peek down the canyon of the city.
I had cause to drive through Times Square in Manhattan today. Everytime I go to the city if feels like my first time:) Just so much to see! And those pictures are digital, they keep changing! A different one every couple seconds.

Thursday Doors

This used to be a bank (Williamsburg Bank), now condos.
The first photo is of a building that used to be the phone company building. It is now repurposed as condos. Very pricy condos.
Manhattan has moved across the Brooklyn Bridge into Downtown Brooklyn. And with it came the traffic. It used to take me 30 minutes from my neighborhood to the bridge. That now takes 90 minutes. Progress.
