Yep! I’m feeling the wood this week. Looks like they’re all being well looked after.
Good morning all!!😊 I am starting to ease out of lock down. And the spirit of snapping pictures of people’s door while hoping they’re not watching is back!!
That last one I have dreams for..I need new fencing in my back yard. How cool would that be!! I think this person made this himself. I have yet to see a person as I go by on my walks though. I want to pepper him/her with questions. Very creative!
A good weekend to all!!

For Norm’s Thursday Doors. It’s the entrance of a school on Joralemon St downtown Brooklyn. The building has been around since 1845? Not sure if that’s referring to the building or the institution. But it sure looks like money. Gorgeous! You can read more about it here.

One of the building’s in Ketchikan Alaska. It was not occupied, a bit tiny. But solid looking. Alaska had a different vibe. This is one of the doors that jumped out at me. Maybe I was just too busy looking.
My first glacier. A very Misty day.
The houses were on the side of the mountain. To get to these homes were a set of stairs. No roads. They must have great legs.
This boat, the Aleutian, used to be on the show the Deadliest Catch (crab fishing) There it was in Port as we got there. It’s now doing tours. On that show the boat looked humongous. It’s not as big I thought it was. Very cool to see though.

Ongoing repairs. The whole thing had the color of the top at one point. I am guessing this is some type of metal. It’s a church and they’re making progress
Apartment building entrance.
Another church
And a school built in 1924 and has 6 stories. I tried to figure out what it was originally but couldn’t. Or, maybe it was built as a school, even back then
