The only flower in sight is indoors. It’s freezing outside and I’ve been messing around with my indoor plants. I worry that they are not getting enough sun. Or that they are too close to the radiator. At a glance, I thought there was some decay going down the side of this one. Then I held it up to the light😊, a lovely surprise!

For Carpe Diem Haiku
Violets and purple flowers in general have some interesting symbolism and characteristics (violets). Below is a little sample
“…The color violet inspires unconditional and selfless love, devoid of ego, encouraging sensitivity and compassion. Violet can be sensitive to all the different forms of pollution in the world today, whether it be air pollution, noise pollution, visual pollution or the pollution in our food chain. This sensitivity makes violet susceptible to illness and allergies, vulnerable to its everyday surroundings…”
