after a short wait
seagull soars with prize in beak
he digs for clams like
the old man with the bucket

rainbow of colors
scattered autumnĀ leaves wind swept –
lingering seagull
the crane has come home
cherry blossom in full bloom
second chance at love
sunflower stands tall
blue sky on memorable
summer day, no clouds
butterfly on bush
alone, gorging on nectar
wings color of beer
