Full Circle

rainbow of colors
scattered autumn leaves wind swept –
lingering seagull

the crane has come home
cherry blossom in full bloom
second chance at love

sunflower stands tall
blue sky on memorable
summer day, no clouds

butterfly on bush
alone, gorging on nectar
wings color of beer

For Carpe Diem Haiku: Full Circle

The challenge “Full Circle” means:

“… the goal is to write haiku with the twelve (12) words I will give. It’s a kind of word-whirl and you have to use the words given in the clock-wise direction. So every word has to come in the line of it’s place on the clock e.g. rainbow you have to use for line one (1) and autumn for line two (2) and so on. The words are

1. rainbow
2. autumn
3. seagull
4. crane
5. cherry blossom
6. love
7. sunflower
8. blue sky
9. clouds
10. butterfly
11. nectar
12. beer
