through the morning haze
comes the rhythm of the waves –
gulls prance on smooth sand

Oh myyyyy, you know I love this, Pat–my feet are ready, my ears hear the hush-shush, my nose is intoxicated by the salt tang….I’m a hopeless romantic when it comes to the sea/beach. Last night I finally watched that movie, “Swept From the Sea”–have you seen it? I liked it enough to watch it again…

Me too, love the ocean. I haven’t seen that movie. I have to see if I can find it:))
So glad you like the poem.

We had gulls flying over this morning…perhaps headed to your beach…(K)

Ha, ha! Perhaps:)) They are such interesting birds. I live near a pier and I saw one swoop down, got a clam, got back into the air and dropped it on the pavement..then landed to eat iis contents!! Very interesting!

This captures the essence of that soulful shore walking, breathe in – breathe out with the waves . . .
