In my garden at springtime I am always tempted to snap dried-up looking twigs. Most of the time I resist the urge only to be pleasantly surprised with tender shoots. One would think I would learn from this and leave well enough alone. But, being human each year it’s the same. The entity involved in these encounters probably just rolls it’s eyes and continue on to finding it’s way. Maybe someday.

Dave is getting back into painting. I love this!
One of my goals this winter in Florida was to do a painting of a famous place in Tuscany, Italy. With paint brush in one hand, and a glass of wine in the other, I completed that goal this week. A few friends came over for the unveiling. I have not painted in over five years. This was a 1st jab at getting back into it. Hope you enjoy! ~ Dave
An Armory that is now serving as a men’s homeless shelter.
A side door to a school in Manhattan
This is also from the same school. I think it’s a church attached to a school
Honestly, I don’t remember where I took this one. It might have been downtown Brooklyn. Clearly a building with a previous life, like most, I suppose.

Pear blossoms. This is from my pear tree. I planted it myself and it actually lived to be a tree bearing fruit. It was a big hit with the neighbors. They were helping me count how many pears we on the tree for the first time:))Â
It has been some years now. But still, every year, I am amazed!
