Autumn Departs
Photo, mine
cool air has taken
on winter’s chill colors gone
the crunch of dry leaves
beneath my feet waiting for
snow to hasten their demise

#Daily Haiku Challenge
I’m not sure who’s more confused, me or these daisies. I planted them in a pot from seeds this past spring. When it flowered in the same year I freaked! – with happiness:)) And here it is, still flowering..at the end of November surrounded by fallen leaves!!!

Blue smoke
Photo taken a couple years ago
flames sway, meander
here then there, crackle and pop
breaking the silence
ongoing swirl of blue smoke
likely mirrowing my thoughts

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo ChallengeÂ
For Cee’s Oddball Photo Challenge. To me, the thing that’s oddball about this is that it’s proudly sitting on the sidewalk!! Which is a huge no-no around here. And it’s a rust bucket proudly wearing new tires striped to match. I wonder if they’re going to keep it like that.
I don’t know the make or model, if anyone does please share.
This is the biggest button & needle I’ve ever seen. Taken in the garment district where all things sewing can be found. If you make your own clothes, it’s heaven!
