These flowers marked the spring season in my native France and I miss them here in the States where they don’t grow everywhere.

In Maine where I spend part of the summer and fall I see lily of the valley, but in California never. These flowers are the symbol of spring in France and are offered on May 1st.

Hi Evelyne..good to see you. They do grow everywhere. I have some in my yard but they are very short and still put forth the flowers in spring. I think they are sitting in thin soil atop rocks, hence their height:)
