This is so lovely, Pat. It makes me feel like sitting on a bench on a boardwalk watching the birds squawk and fly by, the sound of the waves rushing to shore nearby. Do you live by the ocean by any chance? 🙂

I live near a pier, it used to be active it’s not now but it’s been kept up. Mostly folks fish, sit on the benches and watch the sunsets, the movements of the waves, fly kites, picnic etc. I go there in all seasons. It’s the playground of the seagulls. It’s an inspiring spot, I get lots of photos there:) My little piece of paradise at the end of Brooklyn:)
