Saw this on my walk this morning. Brightened up an otherwise overcast day. The owner was in the driveway fiddling with his car. I asked permission before launching onto his property to take this photo. He was very gracious, even offered me a rose! 😊

In my garden these two bushes are entwined. They are trying to out muscle each other. Both are taller than me! The scent coming from this corner of the garden though, is heavenly!

Yup, I saw another variety of hibiscus on this recent trip. This one makes three – red, yellow and pink, and this one.

Black-eyed Susan, brown-eyed Susan, brown betty, gloriosa daisy, golden Jerusalem, English bull’s eye, poor-land daisy, yellow daisy, yellow ox-eye daisy and the botanical name is Rudbeckia hirta.
Who knew this flower had this many names, I didn’t!
