It is the time of year when I go ‘plant crazy’, according to my daughter ( now my mother, she thinks).
Since I killed off my cactus and pineapple top I planted last year. I figured I’d bring in a replacement and keep it indoors this time. I think the cactus and pineapple fell victim to the spring rains. I had forgotten that part about cactus-type plants. Rain is not their friend. Lessons learned.

These are everywhere in my neighborhood right now. Some are lining streets while others are in the park. It kept catching my eye, but today I really paid attention to this one. The blooms are directly on the hefty trunk, as well as on the thinner branches. How cool is that? An equalizer. Beauty from all shapes and sizes. Imagine that☺️.

On April 2, there was no sign of life. On my return on April 9, it was a foot high. It keeps me guessing. Nature in all its glory
