Boardwalk at Coney Island..Sept 20, 2020

I am lightening up my photo pile and came across this one. It was taken on a walk on the Boardwalk in Coney Island in 2020. I must have been on my yearly pilgrimage for my Nathan’s hot dog, cheesy fries, caramel apple, cotton candy and that walnut or pecan rolled onto some very sweet sugary thing that’s covering a marshmallow, that is not good for me at all! Hence, the yearly pilgrimage. Memories!

Summer Vacation

We are at the back end of the summer. Vacation eases to a close. It feels as though it has mostly been a stormy summer. The garden loves it though, It’s gone wild. Today it’s time for a day at the beach. To be wrapped in ocean breeze and be reminded how small a part I play in this space. Waves scramble ashore, erasing footprints. Tiny gulls rush in for newly arrived treats, and the sun makes the smoothe sand shine.
