For Flower of the day- FOTD
This tree was planted by the city, on the sidewalk, in front of my house. The colors up close are breathtaking. For this shot I am standing directly under it, shooting skyward. It was in serious talks with the wind. But leaves are yet to fall. Two days ago the top was red and the lower part was yellow. Today it was full red!

A still life. This was from my garden in April, 2020. A Chinese lantern plant that had come through that winter with a new look.
